Editorial Policy

This page sets out who decides what appears on AffilReviews360, what our ratings rest on, and what can never influence them. It binds the site’s publisher, InnovE-Tech Solutions inc. (Quebec, Canada).

What we publish, and on what basis

We compare consumer services — online banks, internet and mobile plans, insurance, software subscriptions — using the documents their providers publish and are bound by. Our assessment is documentary: see how we evaluate.

We do not field-test these services. We open no accounts, we subscribe to nothing, and we report no lived experience. A claim the reader cannot reproduce has no place in our pages.

How we choose the services we assess

The choice starts from the market, not from providers: we list the services actually offered to the audience concerned — Quebec and Canada for regulated sectors — and keep those a reader is likely to compare. No provider can buy a place in a comparison, or obtain coverage by asking for it.

We announce no publishing schedule. Every analysis waits for human review, one at a time; that is why so few pages are published, and we would rather write it down than promise a timetable we could not keep.

What cannot influence a rating

  • An affiliate commission, current or hoped for: the scoring grid is applied before any programme is approached.
  • A request from a provider. None of them reviews an analysis before publication, and no rating is revised because it displeases.
  • Buying advertising space: the site sells none.
  • The order of a ranking, which follows the weighted score and nothing else.

How we are funded

The site is intended to be funded through affiliate links: if a reader signs up for a service through one of our links, the provider may pay us a commission at no extra cost to the reader.

As of today, no affiliate partnership is active and no link on the site earns anything. Applications are under review. The first paid link will be flagged on the page that carries it, and the affiliate disclosure will be updated that day.

Sponsored content

We publish no sponsored content, and no page on this site has been paid for by a third party. Should that change, such content would carry an explicit notice at the top of the page and would be excluded from any editorial selection or comparison.

The role of automated tools

Software tools handle monitoring, the collection of public documents and the preparation of drafts. They never decide what gets assessed, award no final score and publish nothing: every page put online has been read and signed off by a person. The full division of labour is on the Our Team page.

Corrections

Report a factual error to corrections@affilreviews360.com. A confirmed error is corrected, and the correction is noted on the page concerned, with its date. We do not amend a page silently.

Re-examination

Every analysis is revisited at a set interval — 90 days for financial services, 120 for travel, 180 for the other sections — or sooner if the provider changes its prices or terms. If a change moves the score, the score moves.

Conflicts of interest

Philippe Martin, who signs the analyses, holds no stake in any provider assessed on our sites and receives no payment from one. Should such a situation arise, it would be made public and the service concerned would stop being covered for as long as it lasted. The same rule will apply to any outside contributor.
