This site sets a single cookie, and it is not there to track you. This page says which one, why, and what we do not use.
pll_language. It remembers which language you read the site in (French, English or Spanish), lasts a year, and holds nothing that identifies you. It is the only cookie observed in our checks of 10 September 2026.What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file the site asks your browser to keep, and which the browser sends back with every page. It can serve useful ends — remembering a preference — and less useful ones, such as following your browsing from one site to the next.
The cookie we set

What we do not set
- No audience-measurement cookie: the site loads neither Google Analytics nor any equivalent.
- No advertising or retargeting cookie.
- No social-media cookie.
- No affiliate cookie: no link on the site earns a commission to date.
You can check this yourself: the source of our pages loads no script hosted anywhere but this domain.
Why there is no consent banner
A cookie that merely remembers the language you picked is necessary to the service you asked for, and requires no prior consent. Since we set no other, a banner would only make you click for nothing. Should we ever introduce a non-essential cookie, we would put a consent mechanism in place before switching it on, and this page would say so.
How to refuse or delete this cookie
Every browser lets you block or delete a site’s cookies, in its privacy settings. Refusing pll_language does not stop you reading the site: the language simply will not be remembered from one visit to the next.
